I set out on a trip to Lowe’s yesterday to put to rest this whole “my room is so cold from drafty windows that my throat is closing up” or if you want a shorter version MRISCFDWTMTICU. 
I walk in and there were two dudes in front of me that walked right in and no one asked them anything and I go through the door and like 4 workers all stop me like ‘CAN WE HELP YOU FIND SOMETHING???”
Since no matter how hard I fight it I’m still becoming a cat lady I have grown very close to our furriest roommate Sydney. Before I get into the negative I’ll go ahead and call out the nice things about Sydney (just like an employee performance review!).
1. She kills mice
2. When you need a friend she is always there to hang out with you (unless she’s busy- then she can’t be bothered.)
3. When it’s cold and you can convince her to lay on top of you she can really warm you up- sort of like a live blanket (…uhmm… I do not do this….ok..yes I do.)
OK! So now that we have the nice-ness out of the way I’ll tell you the trouble.
The Chicken or it’s head cut off?
That’s what these past few days have felt like! So busy- GLAD to be busy but busy none the less. Tutoring officially kicks off today- we had to do some re-arranging from Monday so that’s why it didn’t happen earlier. Plus things at work have been picking up so I barely have a moment to think! Which would be exactly how I operate best.
Yesterday I gave crafty Christmas a shot…FAIL. Sigh…in my mind it was going to be gorgeous…but no. And the worst part is I can’t show you yet because on the off chance I can find a new way to do this I don’t want to blow my cover. Here’s a “this is not really it but I’ll use cake to show you” example of what happened.
